Empowering Hispanic Business Leaders

The Delaware Hispanic Chamber of Commerce are Affiliates representing the state of Delaware and we have been participating with the US Hispanic chamber of commerce since 2024. President and CEO Ronaldo Tello said " this year our coordinator Karen Lucas and I had a chance to create paths of communication and collaboration with Hispanic Chambers of Commerce in different regions of the US. We are strong together!"

The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) annual Legislative Summit held at The Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C. from March 24-26, 2025. This flagship event brought together Hispanic business owners, chamber leaders, policymakers, and corporate executives to discuss “The 2025 Business Policy Agenda: Charting the Course.”

Attendees engaged in dynamic sessions focused on key economic issues, including tariffs and trade, immigration policy, workforce dynamics, tax reform, and regulatory relief. The summit also examined the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) and explored opportunities to strengthen U.S. trade.

A highlight of the summit was the keynote address by Dr. Adriana Kugler, Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and the first Latina confirmed as a Federal Reserve governor. Dr. Kugler shared insights on entrepreneurship, its geographic distribution, and its importance for aggregate productivity, with a special emphasis on Hispanic entrepreneurship and a brief outlook for the U.S. economy.

The summit also featured interactive workshops, procurement roundtables, and networking opportunities, fostering connections between small businesses and key decision-makers from federal agencies and Fortune 500 companies. The event culminated with a Hill Day Luncheon at the Russell Senate Office Building, where members of Congress discussed legislative priorities impacting Hispanic-owned businesses.

The USHCC Legislative Summit 2025 successfully empowered Hispanic business leaders to navigate the evolving political and economic landscape, fostering bipartisan connections and promoting economic growth.

Since April 2024, Felipe has been an active member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce—a decision that has marked a new chapter in his professional growth. Joining the Hispanic Chamber has been a meaningful step for Felipe as an entrepreneur. He found not only a support network but a community that uplifts small businesses like his. Through the Chamber, he’s connected with other professionals, gained valuable resources, and expanded the visibility of his photography and visual production services. For Felipe, being part of this network means believing in the power of collaboration and the importance of growing together. In a world saturated with images, where the quick click has become the norm, there are artists who choose a different path—the path of storytelling. That’s the path Felipe walks. A photographer and audiovisual creator born in Bogotá, Colombia, Felipe has proven since arriving in the United States in 2017 that authenticity is still a revolutionary act. Felipe doesn’t shoot just to capture empty moments. He observes, he feels, and then he creates. Trained in Film and Audiovisual Production at the Corporación Universitaria Unitec and shaped by a life of contrasts—from military service to the vibrant world of nightlife—his work is charged with intention. Whether it’s a music video for an urban artist, a visual campaign for a tattooist, or coverage of a major conference, one constant remains: the pursuit of meaning. His lens has explored bars, clubs, fine dining restaurants, tattoo studios, and luxury car showcases. He has collaborated with webcam models, independent artists, and brands looking to tell visual stories with authenticity. But beyond the diverse portfolio, what truly sets Felipe apart is his ability to elevate the everyday, to find poetry in the details, and to build emotion from a single gaze. “My purpose is to transform the everyday into something meaningful,” he says. And it’s not a marketing phrase—it’s his compass. In a creative universe that often rewards speed over depth, Felipe goes against the current. He cares about what he tells, how he tells it, and—most importantly—how it feels. Because his work isn’t just about visual impact; it’s about emotional resonance. From the deep shadows of a nightclub to the controlled light of a studio, Felipe understands that every project is an opportunity to leave a mark. His vision is clear: he didn’t come into this world just to grow—but to lift others along the way. And that—in art, in life, in everything—is a powerful form of resistance. In noisy times, his work is a quiet act that speaks volumes. And that, without a doubt, deserves to be seen.
